Air conditioned a double room and the bed was comfy. Extras like a fridge, a seating area and ironing facilities were appreciated. The location was unbeatable and stunning for walking around Pilgrims' First Landing Park.

It was the destination, not so much the property. Very old hotel but kept up pretty well. Breakfast was nice and the attendant was kind and helpful-real plus for the hotel.

The hotel was gorgeous and stylish in general, had five star staff from check-in to check-out. I booked a room with an extremely comfy bed, it's own balcony and a carpet.

good value for money. not fancy but simply good. perfect location, with beach and swimmingpool! a surprisingly good breakfast, with fresh fruit even.
I can imagine people being disappointed because it is an old hotel without all the modern stuff. but it has its charm, and price. it things might be different in high season, but we were there half June.

The property is WONDERFUL, it has friendly attentive and attentive staff from check-in to check-out. I have stayed in the standard king room with a balcony and a carpet. The hotel has got a very pleasant restaurant for dinner first night.
Views are awful.

It was a large hotel with only a small portion being utilized as it was in its heyday. Old Charm, very laid-back. Enjoyed just having the door open, the breeze going through the room and the extenstion of a great room in the center of the older portion of the hotel. Just so easy to be relaxed. Enjoyed the stay. Wanted a few more days just to veg. Sand at hotel was wonderful, clean and soft. Breakfast was a feast with hot waffles, cereal, muffins, yogurts, several types of juices.
My toilet was not secured to the floor! If you are heavy, only one side will fit at a time! Older with some deferred maintenance. All in the charm of the place other than the plumbing fixture was scary!

Relaxed atmosphere. Convenient location. Funky decor.
Uncomfortable plastic chairs outside room. Blaring, grating music at poolside, making reading and conversation difficult. Low toilet in room that splashes upwards when flush.

Lovely serene setting by the marsh, perfect for sunsets and breakwater walks. Rooms are clean and have a touch of nostalgia.
But for $600 a night, I expected more than just a view-like maybe a ghost or two to keep things interesting!

This old hotel with its old sharm. Could not stand an old hotel smell. Need a lot of updates.

The staff was stellar. They were friendly and accomadating. The atmosphere feels very provincetown. The walls in the hallway are covered with hand painted murals depicting a time of fishermen and market places. It gives a sense of the town's history and indeed the hotels history as well. It certainly added to the feeling that this was a special place to stay, not just another chain. The continental breakfast was basic but lovely, fresh and tastey. The room was comfy, cozy and clean. And of course I love being so close to the water. Next time I'm in town this is absolutely the place I will be staying.
